The Cottage Staircase
is a compact
staircase which can be installed at a steeper pitch than a
normal staircase. This helps it fit into smaller spaces and is
particularly useful to access loft rooms. The
Cottage Staircase has normal shaped treads (rather than the
paddle shaped alternate treads of the Bergen as shown above) which are
shallower than a standard staircase.

Supplied ready for simple assembly,
the standard
kit will fit a floor height of up to 3000mm. It is made of good
quality pine, ready for varnishing or painting on site. Optional
accessories, such as a choice of balustrading and a quarter landing
