The
Genius Spiral Staircases
The
Genius range of spiral staircases have just been launched in the UK
by leading Italian staircase manufacturers, Albini &
Fontanot. These stairs are superb examples of design
innovation combined with the highest quality materials.
The
Genius Spiral stairs are available in two shapes:
- the round
spiral (Genius T) and
- the square spiral (Genius Q) which is great
for installing in an alcove or corner of a room.
There
are also two styles of balustrading:
- steel supports holding
stainless steel horizontal wires (Genius 010) and
- square profile
vertical steel balusters (Genius 020).
Both styles have a
sectional beech handrail.

Both
styles and shapes are available in three colours of steel - White,
Silver and Bronze, and the beautiful solid beech treads are
available with four stains (Cherry, Dark Walnut, Blonde Walnut and
Light Walnut). Also available are three different landing
tread shapes for the ultimate in customisation and
flexibility. You can mix and match any combination of shape,
style and colour to create your own perfect staircase.
The
Genius T (round) spiral is available in six diameters from
1100-1600mm. The Genius Q (square) is available in four
diameters from 1100-1400m. You'll find further details when

As
you would expect from Albini & Fontanot, the detailing of the
Genius range is superb, like the transparent spacers placed between
the central column sections to adjust the tread rise. Also
available is
matching balustrading
for around the stairwell (round,
square or mezzanine opening) plus we also supply riserbars to fit
between the open treads, as required by UK Building Regulations.
