The
Bergen Spacesaver Stair is a simple and robust spacesaving
staircase. Using the paddle-shaped alternate treads, the Bergen
Spacesaver takes about half the space of a standard staircase. The Bergen is made of very high
quality pine, supplied in component form, unfinished ready for
varnishing or painting.
Accessories include
a quarter landing, ranch style
handrailing or square profile balustrading.
The standard kit
comprises 13 treads, is only 660mm wide and will suit floor heights up to
2800mm.

The
Berlin Spacesaver Stair
is sleek and stylish spacesaver staircase and is probably one of the
best looking spacesaver staircases on the market. Featuring
horizontal stainless steel wires supported on powder coated steel
posts and with a really sleek central spine, this is an exceptional
staircase.
The
Berlin is available in kit format and with the ability to install in
a straight or curved flight.
The
treads and handrail are available in Pine, Beech, Ash, Oak or Merbau.

The Bergen
Spacesaver is delivered to your door for easy self assembly.
It is
available in a straight flight or with a quarter turn (as shown left) which will turn
the staircase 90 degrees.

The
Karina Spacesaver
The
innovative design of the Karina spacesaver stair provides an ideal solution
where space is limited. The Karina Spacesaver with the
"alternate" tread pattern, fits into a really compact
space. Its flexible
design allows it to be installed in a straight flight, with a turn at the top or bottom or in a
semi-circle. With solid beech treads, steel tread supports and
balusters, it is strong, robust and stylish.
Delivered
direct to your door for DIY installation, with clear instructions
and instruction video.

The Cottage Staircase is a compact
staircase which can be installed at a steeper pitch than a
normal staircase. This helps it fit into smaller spaces and is
particularly useful to access loft rooms. The
Cottage Staircase has normal shaped treads (rather than the
paddle shaped alternate treads of the Bergen as shown above) which are
shallower than a standard staircase.
Supplied ready for simple assembly,
the standard
kit will fit a floor height of up to 3000mm. It is made of good
quality pine, delivered in component form ready for installing and varnishing or painting on site. Optional
accessories are available.

Another
staircase in our Spacesaver range is the
Gera
Staircase. This
is a very cost-effective alternate tread staircase, manufactured in pine
and designed for very simple assembly. The treads are slightly
more wedge-shaped than the Bergen or Karina and it certainly is a real
space-saver. The treads are 540mm wide and 210mm deep. The Gera
kit will fit a floor to floor height of up to 2860mm requiring a ceiling opening
of just 1300 x 650mm and it is supplied complete with a handrail on one
side. It's delivered direct to you ready for staining or
varnishing.

alternate tread format, are included in the UK Building Regulations
(Part K) 1992 to access a single room in a loft conversion where a
standard staircase would not fit.
