All creatures great and small are welcome at Secret World - open house to an astonishing range of wild and not-so-wild life.
Over the years, many creatures have passed through Derek and Pauline's home. Their work with wildlife has increased alongside their own farm animals and pets. Hand-rearing badgers and foxes, breeding tortoises, the unexpected can be seen - even axolotels.

This is one of my family's favourite places to visit.  Wander through amazing caves with scary tales of witches and legends - children love it!  And, if you remember £sd and great big 1d coins, you'll love the old arcade full of "real" slot machines and old fashioned games.  Or watch them making paper using ages old techniques.  Great day out!

National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth

Becky Falls, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest. It is a private woodland estate that has been a much loved attraction since Victorian times.  Lovely place to spend a relaxing day by soothing waterfalls. Click on the image for their website.

Tate St Ives offers a unique introduction to modern art, where many works can be viewed in the surroundings and atmosphere which inspired them. Set right on the gorgeous Cornish coastline.  Click on the image to visit their website.

The National Seal Sanctuary is set in the picturesque Helford Estuary, by the beautiful village of Gweek, in Cornwall. The Sanctuary is a busy rescue centre, and also has resident Grey Seals, Californian and Patagonian Sea Lions, Goats, Ponies, and Donkeys.  Click on the image to visit their website.

Immerse yourself in the sight, smell and touch of these loveable animals.  You'd have to be a tough cookie not to have a tear in your eye when you see these rescued donkeys and hear their life stories.  But the Sanctuary is a really positive, lively place to visit with plenty for the family, including some good food!  Click on the image to visit their website.
